Wheel and Tire Finding Service

Last week I received a phone call from my Dad, that works at a Pell's Farm Service.  He had a customer looking for a set of brand new tractor tires, 2- 710/70R42 and 4- 600/70R28 Michelin MachXbib.  He let me know that his usual suppliers were out of stock on the 42" tires and they were nationally back ordered. I went to work trying to find what I thought would be fairly easy. 

Come to find out that the internet is no longer a good place to track down a tire.  I admit I am guilty of putting products on my website that are either out of stock in my warehouse or locally, but at least it is something that I know something about or can get within 24 hours. 

I started making the usual phone calls around to see who has them in stock.  Needless to say an hour later and 10-15 calls of being on hold, asked what I was talking about and being told they don't stock any agricultural tires I finally found someone that had them in stock.  Without mentioning any names, this is a very reputable company that I actually knew about from my years of experience, had the two tires I needed in stock.  Go figure though the sales guy had no clue what I was talking about, didn't know a thing about the tire, and wasn't even sure if it was new or used. 

The worst part of the ordeal is that when my dad called me on Friday I knew nothing about the tire, after just 72 hours of effort and determination I actually feel that I may be the expert on these Michelin MachXbib tires. 

One thing I did realize though is that customer service is key.  With that I would like to let all of our customers and passers-by know that if you contact us whether by email or phone (517-214-1044) we will do our best to ensure that you get all of the information necessary to make an informed decision.  It is our duty as a tire, wheel and automotive part supplier to provide you our customer with the best prices and product availability and also the knowledge. 

Once more I may not be the worlds expert on tires, but I can honestly tell you that if there is a tire I don't know enough about, I will research that tire and make sure that you are getting the most knowledgeable service in the world.
